What is es1000AcctHportLinkFailures?
This counter tracks how many Link Failures this H_Port has detected on its connection to the attached device. An admin watches this counter for steady growth as an early sign of a degrading host or storage connection, such as a marginal HBA transceiver or damaged cable. An H_Port whose link-failure count climbs noticeably faster than its peers is a good candidate for a cable or transceiver swap on the attached device side.
