Description: This object counts the number of invalid transmission words detected by this H_Port.
What is es1000AcctHportInvalidTxWords?
This counter tracks how many invalid transmission words this H_Port has sent toward the attached device. A nonzero and growing count here points at a problem on the switch's own transmit path for that port, such as a failing GBIC laser. It's compared against the same port's InvalidCrcs counter, which reflects errors on the receive side instead.
