Description: The rising threshold is a value which specifies that any enabled rising threshold events are to be generated when the value of the currently available leases reaches the rising threshold value via a returning of a lease to the range.

The number of available leases is reported in eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdAvailable. A rising threshold event is either a notification or a log message or both. Rising threshold events are enabled if either or both of eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdRisingSendTrap and eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdRisingLogMessage are true.

Note, this is a rising threshold, so a rising threshold event will only be triggered on a transition of the value of eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdAvailable increasing from (eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdRisingThreshold-1) to eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdRisingThreshold.

What is eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdRisingThreshold?

Sets the available-leases level for this range at which a rising-threshold event fires as leases are returned, telling the admin that this particular subnet range has recovered capacity.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.193.218.2.30.1.3.1.12
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ERICSSON-ROUTER-DHCP-MIB::eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdRisingThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.193.218.2.30.1.3.1.12.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ERICSSON-ROUTER-DHCP-MIB::eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdRisingThreshold.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> eriRouterDhcpRangeThresholdRisingThreshold.1
