This value uniquely identifies a specific active alarm within the router's BRM (backup/restore management) subsystem alarm table, distinguishing this occurrence from any other currently active BRM-related alarms. An administrator references this index, together with the alarm's type, severity, and description fields, to track and manage a particular alarm entry among potentially several BRM alarms active at once. For example, this index lets a monitoring tool uniquely address a specific alarm row when querying or acknowledging BRM-related issues on the router.
