This object holds the security checksum (SCC) calculated by the network element, used as part of the discovery process's security validation. Management systems use it to verify the integrity or authenticity of a node's discovery announcement before trusting it. A mismatched or invalid eriDiscoverySecCS value received during discovery would cause the manager to treat that discovery message with suspicion rather than automatically trusting it.
