Module: EQL-DCB-MIB

OID (symbolic): EQL-DCB-MIB::eqlDcbxConfigPFCTxEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.12740.19.1.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: The eqlDcbxConfigPFCTxEnable, which is defined as a truth value and configured by the network management, determines whether the IEEE 802.1 organizationally defined Priority-based Flow Fontrol TLV transmission is allowed on a given LLDP transmission capable port.

The value of this object is restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.

What is eqlDcbxConfigPFCTxEnable?

Determines whether the port transmits the IEEE 802.1Qbb Priority-based Flow Control TLV via LLDP, advertising which priorities the array wants paused rather than dropped under congestion. Enabled by default (true), it lets a DCBX-capable switch learn the array's PFC settings without manual per-switch configuration.
