Module: EQL-DCB-MIB

OID (symbolic): EQL-DCB-MIB::eqlDcbxConfigETSRecommendationTxEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.12740.19.1.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: The eqlDcbxConfigETSRecommendationTxEnable, which is defined as a truth value and configured by the network management, determines whether the IEEE 802.1 organizationally defined ETS Recommendation TLV transmission is allowed on a given LLDP transmission capable port.

The value of this object is restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.

What is eqlDcbxConfigETSRecommendationTxEnable?

Controls whether the array transmits the IEEE 802.1Qaz ETS Recommendation TLV, through which it can suggest a preferred traffic-class bandwidth split to the remote peer. It defaults to false, so an admin who wants the array to actively recommend ETS bandwidth shares to a switch must enable it explicitly; the setting persists across reinitialization.
