What is etsysThreatNotificationSenderID?
This field identifies which intrusion-detection sensor or group of sensors generated a threat notification trap, for example "Dragon IDS" or "VIRUS SCAN". Admins use it to distinguish which security tool raised an alert when correlating notifications from multiple IDS or IPS sources feeding the same trap receiver. For example, a trap carrying etsysThreatNotificationSenderID="DRAGON1" tells the security team the alert came from the first Dragon IDS sensor rather than the antivirus scanner.
