etsysSyslogServerDefaultUdpPort
Module: ENTERASYS-SYSLOG-CLIENT-MIB
OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-SYSLOG-CLIENT-MIB::etsysSyslogServerDefaultUdpPort
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.14.2.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: SyslogUdpPort
Access: read-write
Description: The default UDP port number that the managed entity is using to send syslog messages.
This value will be used as the default value for etsysSyslogServerUdpPort when creating rows in the etsysSyslogServerTable and either:
1.) no value is specified for etsysSyslogServerUdpPort, or
2.) etsysSyslogServerUdpPort is implemented read-only.
If etsysSyslogServerUdpPort is implemented read-only, and this value is changed, it should affect the UDP port that is used to send syslog messages to all servers as soon as it is practical.
This parameter value is maintained across system reboots.
What is etsysSyslogServerDefaultUdpPort?
Read-write SyslogUdpPort (default 514, the standard syslog port) giving the device-wide default UDP port used when a new server row doesn't specify one, or when per-server etsysSyslogServerUdpPort is implemented read-only; changing it should update the port used for all affected servers going forward, and the setting persists across reboots.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.14.2.5 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-SYSLOG-CLIENT-MIB::etsysSyslogServerDefaultUdpPort
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.14.2.5.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-SYSLOG-CLIENT-MIB::etsysSyslogServerDefaultUdpPort.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.14.2.5.1 s <value>
