etsysSyslogApplicationAllowedServers

Module: ENTERASYS-SYSLOG-CLIENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-SYSLOG-CLIENT-MIB::etsysSyslogApplicationAllowedServers

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.14.3.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Bits

Access: read-write

Description: A list of syslog servers that will be forwarded messages logged by this application. Bits in this list correspond to rows in the etsysSyslogServerTable. Bit positions that are set, but for which the corresponding etsysSyslogServerRowStatus object is not active, will be ignored.

What is etsysSyslogApplicationAllowedServers?

Read-write BITS value listing which configured syslog servers (by index 1-8, plus console/file/secure-file destinations) should receive this application's messages; a bit set for a server whose etsysSyslogServerRowStatus isn't active is simply ignored, so removing a server elsewhere in the table quietly stops it from getting these logs even if its bit is still set here.

Examples

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.14.3.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-SYSLOG-CLIENT-MIB::etsysSyslogApplicationAllowedServers.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.14.3.1.1.5.1 s <value>
