etsysSshEventLogFilter
Module: ENTERASYS-SSH-SERVER-MIB
OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-SSH-SERVER-MIB::etsysSshEventLogFilter
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.26.1.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Specifies the filter for event log messages. Valid values are information, warning, and error.
The values are defined as follows:
none (1) Pass no messages. This is effectively a disable condition for Event Logging.
information (2) Pass Informational Level, Warning Level and Error Level messages.
warning (3) Pass Warning Level and Error Level messages.
error (4) Pass Error Level messages only.
What is etsysSshEventLogFilter?
This deprecated, read-write INTEGER selects which severity of SSH-related event log messages get passed through, with none(1) disabling logging entirely, information(2) passing informational/warning/error messages, warning(3) passing warning and error, and error(4) passing only error-level messages. Admins tune this to control log verbosity, using error(4) to reduce noise in production or information(2) while troubleshooting SSH connectivity problems. For example, setting this to warning(3) during a suspected brute-force attempt would surface failed-login warnings without flooding the log with routine connection info.
