Description: The threshold for generating etsysResourceLoad1minThresholdExceeded Notifications.
Setting this object to 0 will prevent the agent from generating etsysResourceCpuLoad1minThresholdExceeded notifications.
When this object is set to a nonzero value, the agent will generate etsysResourceLoad1minThresholdExceeded notifications when it is detected that an etsysResourceCpuLoad1min object value has exceeded this threshold value. After the threshold has been exceeded additional notifications will be sent once a minute until the corresponding etsysResourceCpuLoad1min drops back below the threshold.
What is etsysResource1minThreshold?
Sets the CPU-load threshold, as a percentage, that triggers an etsysResourceCpuLoad1minThresholdExceeded notification when a CPU's 1-minute load average crosses it; setting it to 0 disables the notification entirely. Admins tune this to control how sensitive the device is to sustained CPU load - once exceeded, the agent keeps sending the notification once a minute until the load drops back under the threshold, so admins pick a value that won't cause alert storms during normal peak load. Setting etsysResource1minThreshold to 85 means the switch will start sending repeated alerts as soon as any CPU's 1-minute average utilization passes 85 percent.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.49.1.4.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-RESOURCE-UTILIZATION-MIB::etsysResource1minThreshold
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.49.1.4.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-RESOURCE-UTILIZATION-MIB::etsysResource1minThreshold.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.49.1.4.1.1 s <value>
