Access: read-only

Description: In class mode, this is sum of all ports power according to their class upper bound, except classes 0 & 4 for which the actual power consumption is accounted. In realtime mode, this is sum of power consumed by all ports, measured in real-time.

What is etsysPseModulePowerClassBudget?

This object reports, in watts, the module's power budget: in class mode it is the sum of each port's class-based upper bound (except classes 0 and 4, which use actual consumption), and in realtime mode it is the sum of actual power measured across all ports. An admin uses this to see how much of the module's power capacity is currently budgeted or consumed depending on the active power mode. For example, a module with ten class-2 PoE devices attached in class mode might report a budget near 70 watts (7W upper bound each).
