etsysMACLockingStaticStationsAllocated

Module: ENTERASYS-MAC-LOCKING-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-MAC-LOCKING-MIB::etsysMACLockingStaticStationsAllocated

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.21.1.2.1.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: Management sets this number in the range of 0 to etsysMACLockingStaticStationsAllowed. This limits the number of statically provisioned, locked MACs on this port. The default value of this object SHOULD be the same as the default value of etsysMACLockingStaticStationsAllowed.

What is etsysMACLockingStaticStationsAllocated?

This read-write Unsigned32 sets how many statically provisioned MAC addresses can be locked to this port, bounded by etsysMACLockingStaticStationsAllowed. An admin sets this to reserve slots for MAC addresses they intend to explicitly lock via the static station table, such as known printers or servers. For example, setting this to 2 on a port reserves room for two specific devices' MACs to be statically locked there.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-MAC-LOCKING-MIB::etsysMACLockingStaticStationsAllocated

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.21.1.2.1.1.8.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-MAC-LOCKING-MIB::etsysMACLockingStaticStationsAllocated.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.21.1.2.1.1.8.1 i <value>
