etsysMACLockingRemoveStation

Module: ENTERASYS-MAC-LOCKING-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-MAC-LOCKING-MIB::etsysMACLockingRemoveStation

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.21.1.4.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: When this is object is set to true(1) the MAC address specified by the indexing will be removed from etsysMACLockingStationTable. If the etsysMACLockingLockedEntryCause leaf for this table entry is of type static(1), then the associated entry will also be removed from the etsysMACLockingStaticStationTable. A set to false(2) will have no effect. This object will always return false(2).

What is etsysMACLockingRemoveStation?

This read-write TruthValue, when set to true(1), removes the specific locked MAC address entry (identified by the row's port and MAC index) from the station table. An admin uses this to manually evict a single locked device from a port without clearing the entire port's lock table. For example, setting this to true(1) on the row for a decommissioned device's MAC removes just that entry, leaving other locked MACs on the port untouched.
