Description: The enabled/disabled status of the New Image Validation feature.

What is etsysImageValidationEnable?

This object enables or disables the New Image Validation feature, which monitors a newly booted firmware image and can roll it back if validation fails, defaulting to disabled. An admin enables this before performing a firmware upgrade so that if the new image fails to complete key operations (like loading configuration or responding to management), the switch automatically reverts to the previous working image. Setting it to enabled before an upgrade protects against a bad firmware image leaving the switch unreachable, since it will auto-revert if validation fails.
