etsysIetfBridgeDot1dStpLoopProtectEventThreshold

Module: ENTERASYS-IETF-BRIDGE-MIB-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-IETF-BRIDGE-MIB-EXT-MIB::etsysIetfBridgeDot1dStpLoopProtectEventThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.31.1.6.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The number of Loop Protect events that must occur on a given port on a given Spanning Tree instance within the interval defined by etsysIetfBridgeDot1dLoopProtectEventWindow for the port to become locked (i.e., held indefinitely in the blocking state). If this object is set to zero no locking will be performed.

What is etsysIetfBridgeDot1dStpLoopProtectEventThreshold?

This read-write Unsigned32 (default 3) sets how many Loop Protect events must occur on a port within the configured window before that port is locked indefinitely in the blocking state; setting it to 0 disables locking entirely.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.31.1.6.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-IETF-BRIDGE-MIB-EXT-MIB::etsysIetfBridgeDot1dStpLoopProtectEventThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.31.1.6.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-IETF-BRIDGE-MIB-EXT-MIB::etsysIetfBridgeDot1dStpLoopProtectEventThreshold.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.31.1.6.2.1 i <value>
