Description: The maximum number of active ieee8021CnCompntPriTable entries allowed per component in the system. An entry is active if the ieee8021CnComPriRowStatus is active.

What is etsysCnMibExtMaxCompActivePriVals?

This value reports the maximum number of active priority entries (rows in the IEEE8021-CN-MIB's ieee8021CnCompntPriTable) that a single bridge component can have active at once, where 'active' means the entry's ieee8021CnComPriRowStatus is set to active. An admin uses this ceiling to know how many congestion-notification-enabled priority levels can be simultaneously configured on any one bridge component before further activations are refused. For example, if this returns 8, a component supporting all 8 IEEE 802.1p priorities could have CN enabled on every one of them.
