What is eMailErrors?
A running counter of the number of e-mail delivery attempts that resulted in an error. Admins watch this counter for spikes, which typically indicate a downstream mail relay, DNS resolution, or destination-host problem affecting outbound mail. A sudden jump in eMailErrors coinciding with unreachable(3) statuses in the eMailCache would point an admin toward a specific destination mail host being down.
