Description: Enable/Disable host based immediate leave on this Vlan

What is eltIgmpMldSnoopVlanIsImmediateLeaveHostBased?

This flag turns on or off per-host immediate-leave processing for IGMP/MLD snooping on a given VLAN, meaning the switch can stop forwarding multicast to a specific host as soon as it sends a leave, without waiting for the normal query timeout. An admin enables this to speed up multicast group pruning on VLANs with many hosts, such as IPTV deployments, avoiding needless multicast bandwidth being sent to hosts that already left. Enabling this on the guest VLAN would let the switch immediately stop sending an IPTV multicast stream to a set-top box the moment it sends an IGMP leave message.
