Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The drop threshold on an interface for a given protocol. After reaching this drop threshold, the interface will start dropping PDUs for the given protocol. This value cannot be greater than the value of eltLtcTunnelShutdownThreshold. A value of 0 indicates that no limit is set.

What is eltLtcTunnelDropThreshold?

This value sets the PDU-rate drop threshold, for a given tunneled protocol on this interface, above which the interface begins dropping that protocol's PDUs; it cannot exceed eltLtcTunnelShutdownThreshold, and a value of 0 means no limit. Admins tune it to protect the interface from being overwhelmed by an abnormal flood of tunneled control-plane traffic, such as a BPDU storm. Setting it to 100 would start dropping tunneled PDUs for that protocol once the rate exceeds 100, before the more severe shutdown threshold is reached.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ELTEX-MES-L2-TUNNEL-CONFIG-MIB::eltLtcTunnelDropThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.35265.1.23.13.1.3.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ELTEX-MES-L2-TUNNEL-CONFIG-MIB::eltLtcTunnelDropThreshold.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.35265.1.23.13.1.3.1.1.2.1 i <value>
