systemInitiateEEPROM

Module: ELTEK-DISTRIBUTEDV4-MIB

OID (symbolic): ELTEK-DISTRIBUTEDV4-MIB::systemInitiateEEPROM

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.12148.9.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Pushbutton function that initiates a forced write of default data to the SB70/SB72 eeprom. This function is used for productiontest only. The 3rd party OS used in this application are not able to write default data to EEPROM at boot time. A minimum set of configuration is thus created in RAM. A production test facility must therefore run this command as a part of the production test for the unit to function properly.

What is systemInitiateEEPROM?

Setting this to start forces a write of default configuration data to the SB70/SB72 board's EEPROM. This is intended for production testing only, since the embedded OS can't write EEPROM defaults at boot time on its own and instead runs with a minimal RAM-only configuration until this command is executed once during manufacturing.
