What is rtPortIndex?
This is the index value used to identify a row in the router port table, ranging from 1 to 48. It exists mainly so a management application can walk through each configured EiconCard port in turn. An admin doesn't set this directly; it's simply the key used to reference a specific port's other statistics.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.434.2.2.8.30.1.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> EICON-MIB-ROUTER::rtPortIndex
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.434.2.2.8.30.1.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> EICON-MIB-ROUTER::rtPortIndex.1
