What is dsx1FarEndTotalDMs?
This object counts the number of Degraded Minutes (DMs) that occurred on a DS1 (T1/E1) interface during the previous 24-hour period. Degraded Minutes are intervals where bit error rates exceed acceptable thresholds but haven't reached the severity of Errored Seconds. An operator would monitor this to track the quality of long-distance digital circuits and identify lines experiencing intermittent performance issues.
