Description: Returns the total number of rings passing through the chassis of which the token ring device is aware. All of these rings may or may not be administratively or statistically manageable.

What is dot5PhysMgmtDeviceRingCount?

Reports the total number of Token Ring rings the chassis is aware of passing through it, whether or not all of them are manageable. A network admin uses this count to gauge how many rings a Cabletron token-ring chassis is participating in before drilling into per-ring speed or port tables.
