Description: This attribute causes the CMTS to begin the measurement of a probe for the selected CM or for a quiet period if the UseIdleSid attribute is enabled. The Enable attribute is cleared when the measurement has been completed. If the TriggerMode is FreeRunning then the Enable attribute will remain true until cleared by the PNM server.
Interaction with other table rows:
- This object returns 'inconsistentValue' if set to 'true' while the value of 'docsPnmCmtsUsSpecAnMeasStatus' is a value of 'busy'.
- Default values are provided for read-write objects in this table; thus, this object may be set to 'true' without explicitly setting these values. However, the default values may not be appropriate and care should be taken to insure these values are correct for the desired test case.
- Setting this object to a value of 'true' will change the value of the 'docsPnmCmtsUsSpecAnMeasStatus' to 'busy'.
What is docsPnmCmtsUsSpecAnEnable?
A deprecated flag that started an upstream spectrum-analysis capture; the CMTS cleared it when complete, or it stayed true indefinitely in FreeRunning trigger mode until the PNM server cleared it. STATUS is 'deprecated' -- newer deployments should use the Upstream Triggered Spectrum Capture (Utsc) objects later in this table instead.
