Description: This attribute indicates whether Codeword Tagging is in use for this test. This attribute is defined as a Boolean with the value 'false' meaning that codeword tagging is disabled and a value of 'true' means that codeword tagging is enabled. When codeword tagging is enabled, The CM will report codeword counts that include only codewords received on the profile in question for the duration of the test for which the 'T' bit is set to 1 in the NCP pointing to the codeword. The location of the 'T' bit is specified in [DOCSIS PHYv3.1]. If codeword tagging is disabled, the CM only reports codeword counts that include all codewords received on the profile in question for the duration of the test. This attribute is only present in the OPT-REQ message for Codeword tests: codewordStats(3), codewordThreshComp(4). This attribute corresponds to TLV 5.3 in the OPT Request message.
What is docsPnmCmtsOptReqCwTaggingEnabled?
Enables or disables Codeword Tagging for an OPT codeword test; when enabled, the CM counts only codewords whose NCP 'T' bit is set for the profile under test, otherwise it counts all codewords on that profile for the test duration. Only meaningful for the codeword tests (codewordStats/codewordThreshComp); corresponds to TLV 5.3 in the OPT Request message.
