This object indicates whether a cable modem is currently operating in Energy Management 1x1 mode, a power-saving feature that reduces the CM's transmit frequency. When true, the CM is actively using energy management to conserve power; when false, it is operating in normal full-power mode. An operator would monitor this to understand subscriber CM power states and to troubleshoot connectivity issues that may be caused by or related to energy management mode.
