Description: The center of the frequency band associated with this upstream interface. This object returns 0 if the frequency is undefined or unknown. Minimum permitted upstream frequency is 5,000,000 Hz for current technology. See the associated conformance object for write conditions and limitations.
What is docsIfUpChannelFrequency?
This is the center frequency, in Hz, of the upstream channel a cable modem transmits on, with a DOCSIS-mandated minimum of 5 MHz. An admin checks this when a modem is registering on an unexpected upstream, which is a common symptom of upstream plant noise pushing modems off their preferred channel.
