What is docsIfSigQSignalNoise?
This is the channel's Signal-to-Noise Ratio in tenths of a dB (so a reading of 51 means 5.1 dB) — the CM's downstream SNR, or at the CMTS, the average upstream SNR across the channel. An admin treats SNR as one of the core health metrics for a cable link: DOCSIS deployments generally expect well over 25-30 dB for a healthy QAM256 downstream, and a low reading points to noise ingress or attenuation on the plant.
