Description: At the CM, returns the equalization data for the downstream channel. At the CMTS, returns the average equalization data for the upstream channel. Returns an empty string if the value is unknown or if there is no equalization data available or defined.
What is docsIfSigQEqualizationData?
This returns the raw equalization coefficient data the modem or CMTS computed for the channel (downstream at the CM, upstream average at the CMTS), or an empty string if none is available. It's a low-level diagnostic object an admin would pull with vendor-specific tooling to visualize the channel's frequency response, rather than something read directly as a number in day-to-day monitoring.
