Specifying only this object (with the appropriate index) on a CM is sufficient to create a filter row that matches all inbound packets on the ethernet interface and results in the packets being discarded. docsDevFilterLLCIfIndex (at least) must be specified on a CMTS to create a row.
What is docsDevFilterLLCStatus?
A RowStatus object controlling creation and deletion of rows in the LLC filter table; on a cable modem, creating a row with just this object (and the right index) is enough to build a filter that discards all inbound Ethernet traffic, while a CMTS additionally requires docsDevFilterLLCIfIndex to create a row.
