cpCaptivePortalMaxBandwidthDown

Module: DNOS-CAPTIVE-PORTAL-MIB

OID (symbolic): DNOS-CAPTIVE-PORTAL-MIB::cpCaptivePortalMaxBandwidthDown

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.38.1.2.1.1.13

Description: The maximum bandwidth, in bytes per second, that a client can receive traffic when using Captive Portal. This setting limits the bandwidth at which the client can receive data from the network. If this value is set to 0, no rate limiting is enforced. This value is represented in bytes (however; converted & stored as bits/sec).

What is cpCaptivePortalMaxBandwidthDown?

Rate-limits how much traffic, in bytes per second (0-536870911), a captive-portal client can receive downstream, with 0 (the default) meaning no limit. This is the download-side counterpart to cpCaptivePortalMaxBandwidthUp, useful for keeping guest streaming from saturating shared internet bandwidth.
