What is dmaNodeNum?

This reports the current count of DMA-200 and PMC-100 nodes configured in the system, capped at 20 or 40 nodes depending on firmware revision. An admin checks this to confirm how many remote nodes the system currently manages and whether they're approaching the firmware's node limit before adding more. For example, seeing dmaNodeNum at 40 on an F-revision unit means the node table is fully populated at its firmware maximum.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.498.3.7.2.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DMA200-MIB::dmaNodeNum

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.498.3.7.2.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DMA200-MIB::dmaNodeNum.1
