dnaMacFormatDelimiterNumber

Module: DLINKSW-NETWORK-ACCESS-MIB

OID (symbolic): DLINKSW-NETWORK-ACCESS-MIB::dnaMacFormatDelimiterNumber

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.151.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This object indicates the delimiter number of authentication MAC address. 1: single delimiter, the format is: AABBCC.DDEEFF 2: double delimiter, the format is: AABB.CCDD.EEFF 5: multiple delimiter, the format is: AA.BB.CC.DD.EE.FF Note: while dnaMacFormatDelimiter is none(1), the delimiter number will not take effect.

What is dnaMacFormatDelimiterNumber?

Controls how many delimiter groups appear in a formatted authentication MAC address: 1 for a single delimiter (AABBCC.DDEEFF), 2 for double (AABB.CCDD.EEFF), or 5 for one between every octet pair (AA.BB.CC.DD.EE.FF); this setting has no effect while dnaMacFormatDelimiter is none(1). An admin pairs this with dnaMacFormatDelimiter to exactly match the MAC address grouping style their AAA server expects.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.151.1.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DLINKSW-NETWORK-ACCESS-MIB::dnaMacFormatDelimiterNumber

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.151.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DLINKSW-NETWORK-ACCESS-MIB::dnaMacFormatDelimiterNumber.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.151.1.1.5.1 i <value>
