Description: The number of times per second the queue is sampled for queue average calculation. A value of zero is used to mean that the queue is sampled approximately each time a packet is enqueued (or dequeued).

What is diffServRandomDropSamplingRate?

How many times per second the queue is sampled to update the average-depth calculation used by RED; zero means sample on (approximately) every packet enqueue/dequeue instead of on a fixed timer. Admins rarely need to change this from its default unless tuning RED responsiveness at very high or very low traffic rates.
