Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The way multicasts should forwarded on this interface; not forwarded, forwarded as data link multicasts, or forwarded as data link uni- casts. Data link multicasting is not meaning- ful on point to point and NBMA interfaces, and setting ospfMulticastForwarding to 0 effective- ly disables all multicast forwarding.
What is swL3ospfIfMulticastForwarding?
Read-only setting for how multicast traffic is forwarded on this OSPF interface: blocked (no multicast forwarding), forwarded as data-link multicasts, or forwarded as data-link unicasts to each neighbor individually. Per the source DESCRIPTION, data-link multicasting isn't meaningful on point-to-point/NBMA interfaces, and blocked(1) disables multicast forwarding entirely.
