This read-only value reports whether DCBX on the given port is operationally up and in sync with the remote peer (enabled(1)) or operationally down (disabled(2)). Admins poll it to confirm a DCBX session is actually established, not just administratively turned on, before trusting the negotiated ETS/PFC parameters.
