Module: DELL-NETWORKING-BMP-MIB
OID (symbolic): DELL-NETWORKING-BMP-MIB::bmpUserDefinedString

Description: A textual string containing information about the option 60.
What is bmpUserDefinedString?
This object holds a text string, up to 64 bytes, used as the content of DHCP option 60 (vendor class identifier) sent by the switch during BMP. It lets an admin customize how the switch identifies itself to the DHCP server, which can be used to select the correct boot file or configuration profile from that server. A network team running multiple switch models through one DHCP server might set distinct option-60 strings per model so the server can hand out the right firmware image to each.
