Description: The Robustness Variable allows tuning for the expected packet loss on a subnet. If a subnet is expected to be lossy, the Robustness Variable may be increased. IGMP and MLD is robust to (Robustness Variable-1) packet losses.
What is mgmdPmRouterInterfaceRobustness?
This read-create value (1-255, default 2) tunes how many packet losses IGMP/MLD on this interface can tolerate before declaring a membership gone; a lossy subnet should use a higher value. Raising it trades slower leave detection for resilience against dropped IGMP/MLD packets.
