Description: The Maximum Transmission Unit size for the various switching descriptors on an interface is updated in real-time by the I3 Stub. In order to increase performance and reduce network traffic, this parameter determines the minimal percentage change of the Maximum Transmission Unit that causes a new LSP to be originated.
What is isisSysMTUSizePcntge?
Sets the minimum percentage change in an interface's advertised Maximum Transmission Unit (for its switching descriptors, as updated by the I3 Stub) required before the router originates a new LSP to re-advertise it, defaulting to 0. An admin raises this to suppress unnecessary LSP regeneration from small, frequent MTU fluctuations reported for traffic-engineered interfaces.
