Description: The physical address of the network interface (for example a MAC address on an Ethernet card). This value is only relevant to a broadcast circuit and is ignored on a point-to-point circuit. It needs to be specified in the MIB if the information is not obtained from the I3 stub.
This object follows the replaceOnlyWhileDisabled behavior.
What is isisCircPhysicalAddress?
Holds the physical (e.g. MAC) address of the network interface backing this circuit, relevant only on broadcast circuits (ignored on point-to-point) and only needs to be specified manually here if it isn't already available from the I3 stub; can only be changed while the circuit is disabled. An admin sets this explicitly only in environments where the I3 stub doesn't already supply the interface's hardware address automatically.
