wtDeaTcpConnectTimeout

Module: Com-Server-Intern-MIB

OID (symbolic): Com-Server-Intern-MIB::wtDeaTcpConnectTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5040.1.1.1.4.4.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Connection timeout in seconds. This value is only effective in conjunction with an activated inactivity timeout. After the inactivity timeout has expired, the Com-Server attempts to send any remaining unsent user data for the duration of the connection timeout. If it does not receive a reply from the TCP server within this time, it assumes the server is hung. The data are the rejected and the connection reset. To prevent unintended data loss, select a sufficiently high value. The value 0 deactivates the timeout.

What is wtDeaTcpConnectTimeout?

Read-write INTEGER (0-65535 seconds) grace period, active only alongside the inactivity timeout, during which the Com-Server keeps trying to deliver unsent data to a possibly-hung TCP server on the digital I/O port before giving up and resetting the connection.
