trdSapOprRxBufferQueue

Module: CXTRDIo-MIB

OID (symbolic): CXTRDIo-MIB::trdSapOprRxBufferQueue

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.6.51.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Defines the receive queue length, in number of buffers, for the associated hardware port. The number of buffers is usually equal to the number of frames (i.e. one frame per buffer).

After the queue has reached this length, data is discarded.

Default Value: 64

What is trdSapOprRxBufferQueue?

This reports the current receive buffer queue length, in number of frame buffers, configured for the associated hardware port. An admin checks this operational value to understand how much inbound traffic the port can buffer before excess frames are discarded outright, unlike the small overflow cushion allowed on transmit. For example, a value of 64 means the port can hold 64 received frames before further incoming frames are dropped.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.6.51.1.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CXTRDIo-MIB::trdSapOprRxBufferQueue

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.6.51.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CXTRDIo-MIB::trdSapOprRxBufferQueue.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> trdSapOprRxBufferQueue.1
