What is trdOprControlStats?
This write-only object clears all statistics counters for the hardware port, including those in the standard Interfaces Group and dot5 Token Ring MIBs, when set to clearSapStats. An admin uses this to reset a port's counters to zero, useful for getting a clean baseline before or after a test or maintenance action rather than waiting for a device reboot. For example, setting this to clearSapStats after replacing a cable resets all of that port's error and traffic counters to start fresh.
