What is t1e1CfgSyncCriteria?
This read-write integer, valued 1 or 2 with a default of 1, determines the criteria the T1/E1 line uses to achieve frame synchronization, with the exact meaning depending on the framing mode: in D4 framing, 1 searches for the Ft pattern then Fs, while 2 cross-couples Ft and Fs; in ESF framing, 1 searches for the FPS pattern alone while 2 additionally verifies it with CRC6. Administrators, under qualified supervision since this is a private-mode setting, use it to trade off faster synchronization against more rigorous frame-integrity checking. For example, setting this to 2 on an ESF-framed line adds CRC6 verification to the framing pattern search for more reliable synchronization.
