This OID reports the most recent change in this lower SAP's PPP link status with the network layer: vif-attached, vif-detached, vif-up, vif-down, or vif-finished. An engineer polls this to track whether a specific physical PPP link within a bundle has successfully come up (vif-up) or gone down (vif-down).
