Description: Identifies the number of packets received at the local port which have been discarded because their length exceeded the Maximum Receive Unit (MRU). Packets which are longer than the MRU but which are successfully received and processed are not included in this count.
The MRU is the maximum length of the Information field, including Padding. The length of the Protocol field is not included in the MRU.

What is mlpppLSapLsPacketTooLongs?
This OID counts packets discarded at this local port because their length exceeded the negotiated Maximum Receive Unit (MRU); packets over the MRU that were still successfully received are not counted here. An engineer checks this if a peer appears to be sending oversized frames that violate the negotiated MRU from mlpppLSapLcInitialMRU.
