What is bscDevState?
This read-only value reports the device's current internal BSC line-control state, drawn from a large enumeration of HIU and TIU-specific states such as waiting for the next poll, waiting for a status-sense acknowledgment, or waiting for a WACK response. An admin reads this during troubleshooting to see exactly which step of the BSC polling/acknowledgment sequence a stuck device is frozen at.
