ctVlanClassifyActionStatus

Module: CTRON-VLAN-CLASSIFY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-VLAN-CLASSIFY-MIB::ctVlanClassifyActionStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.16.6.1.5.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The action taken for all frames which apply this entry's associated classification rule.

When this object is forwardNoFrames(1), the device will drop all frames which apply this classification rule.

When this object is forwardAllFrames(2), the device will forward all applicable frames to this classification entry's VLAN.

What is ctVlanClassifyActionStatus?

This object controls the action taken for frames that match this entry's VLAN classification rule: forwardNoFrames(1) drops all matching frames, while forwardAllFrames(2) forwards them into the rule's assigned VLAN. Admins use it to decide whether a classification rule actively steers traffic into a VLAN or is used purely to block matching frames. Setting ctVlanClassifyActionStatus to forwardNoFrames(1) on a rule would silently drop all frames that match its classification criteria.
